Hardware storage

We offer hardware storage at LVRTC facilities before it is installed at the data center.

The description of the procedure for the provision of storage services is reflected in clauses 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 of the Annex “Storage of Customer Equipment” to the Agreement “On the Provision of ICT Services”.

Procedure for providing storage services

  • 3.1.1. The Customer shall send the filled in request form for Storage Service (form is available at www.lvrtc.lv/en/services/data-centers/hardware-storage/ from the e-mail address specified in the list of Customer's contact persons (Clause 6 of this Annex) to the e-mail address of Service Provider – . Requests from other e-mail addresses shall not be accepted and processed.

    3.1.2. The Customer and the Service Provider shall agree on the time of delivery at least 1 (one) working day in advance. If the Customer’s device is not delivered at the agreed time, the Service Provider shall inform the Customer on that. The Customer shall apply for a repeated delivery of the device again, in accordance with the procedure set forth in this Annex.

    3.1.3. If the dimensions of the Customer’s device to be delivered exceed the 3U server locations and/or the weight exceeds 10kg, the Customer shall notify the Service Provider on that at least 2 (two) working days in advance. The Service Provider shall ensure in addition the delivery of the delivered device up to the storage room. In case of need, on the basis of the agreement made between the Parties, the Service Provider shall use cargo movement outsourcing, regarding which an additional fee shall be requested from the Customer.

  • 3.2.1. The Service Provider shall perform visual inspection, evaluation of the packaging and photo fixation of the dispatch afterwards, when the dispatch has been examined and the data thereof have been compared with the identifiers of the dispatch of device specified in the application form.

    3.2.2. The Service Provider shall prepare the Acceptance Report (hereinafter - the Report), which shall be signed by both Parties (a representative of the Customer shall present a personal identity document). The Report shall be prepared in two identical counterparts, one shall be stored with the Service Provider and the other shall be issued to the Customer.

    3.2.3. The Service Provider shall send photo images of the received device to the e-mail address of the Customer within one hour from the moment of signing of the Report.

  • 3.3.1. The Service Provider shall perform visual inspection and evaluation of the packaging afterwards, when the dispatch has been examined and the data thereof have been compared with the identifiers of the dispatch of device specified in the application form.

    3.3.2. If the packaging of the delivered dispatch has no damage or they are small and, most probably, do not affect the performance of the device, the Service Provider shall perform photo fixation of the dispatch and shall send photo images to the e-mail address of the Customer.

    3.3.3. If the package of the delivered dispatch has significant damages (deformed, compressed, wet or similar package), as a result of which the device, most probably, is damaged, the Service Provider shall not accept the dispatch. The Service Provider shall perform photo fixation of the dispatch, shall inform the Customer about the arising situation and shall send photo images of the damage to the e-mail address of the Customer.
