The Latvian State Radio and Television Center (LVRTC) has established an extensive optical fiber communication network that provides connectivity across various regions of Latvia, including Latgale and the eastern border area. This infrastructure enables organizations to use secure, stable, and reliable data transmission solutions, while also fostering the growth of e-commerce and digital services in the regions.
Optical Network Development
LVRTC continues to build a reliable and high-speed electronic communication infrastructure for electronic communication providers, mobile network operators, international partners, and public sector institutions. The new network segments will ensure access to next-generation services and strengthen transit connections.
The expansion of LVRTC’s optical network is financed from the company’s own resources. This means that the constructed infrastructure will be available to all interested parties on equal terms and without additional restrictions. At the same time, it will also support LVRTC’s revenue growth and enhance the capabilities of the existing data centers and communication networks.
