Can the company afford to risk its data?
Nowadays, the loss or unavailability of data for a company can mean not only a damaged reputation, but also a very real financial loss. When assessing how and where to store data, a company should primarily answer 2 questions:
• Are there internal competencies and infrastructure to ensure that data is stored in a way that does not affect the company’s operations in the event of an intrusion, flood or fire?
• How many minutes per year can the company afford downtime due to unavailability or loss of data?
