Infrastructure lease

LVRTC provides infrastructure leasing services at 31 telecommunications towers and masts across Latvia. We offer a secure and reliable environment for the installation of telecommunications and data transmission equipment for telecom operators, public sector institutions, and businesses, together with professional technical support throughout the entire service period.

We provide space for the installation of a wide range of telecommunications equipment, including:

  • telecommunications towers and masts;
  • technical buildings;
  • building rooftops and façades;
  • telecommunications shelters/containers;
  • cable duct systems and other related infrastructure.

Equipment can be installed at heights ranging from 30 to 200 metres (at the Riga Radio and TV Tower). Lease fees are determined based on the size of the equipment, the installation height, and the infrastructure required.

Additional Services

In addition to infrastructure leasing, we also provide:

  • installation, dismantling, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment;
  • tower climbing (rope access) services;
  • radio frequency (RF) measurements and calculations;
  • consultancy on the optimal placement of telecommunications equipment.

Radio Frequency Measurements and Calculations

We carry out radio frequency (RF) measurements and calculations both for LVRTC infrastructure planning and at the request of customers.

  • Line-of-Sight Analysis

We perform line-of-sight (LOS) calculations between any two locations within Latvia, assessing the impact of terrain on radio communication quality. To perform the analysis, the coordinates of both locations and the antenna heights are required.

  • Coverage Area Measurements

We offer both theoretical coverage calculations and practical field measurements of radio coverage areas. For existing infrastructure leasing customers, this service is included in the lease package. Other customers may order it as a standalone service.
