LVRTC Board Member Evijs Taube will participate in the Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) International Workshop on Enhancing the Resilience of Communication Infrastructure. The multi-day international event brings together experts and policymakers to discuss global cooperation and best practices for strengthening the resilience of communication infrastructure. Evijs Taube will attend the workshop and will also take part as a panelist in the discussion “Building Global Resilience Cooperation.”

An annual conference organised by the University of Latvia (UL) - the world’s largest and leading conference in the field of quantum information processing, the “29th Annual Quantum Information Processing Conference 2026 (QIP)” - will take place in Riga. The conference committees include representatives from organisations such as Google Quantum AI, the University of Cambridge, Duke University, Microsoft, IBM, the University of Latvia, Yale University, AWS, UC Berkeley, the University of Amsterdam and QuSoft, Caltech, Université Paris Cité, and others. In addition to the public sessions held at the QIP venue, a variety of side events will be organised. One of these is a meeting with international guests. Representatives from academic and the quantum industry will share their achievements, current developments, and future plans in quantum technologies in Latvia. As part of one of the planned side events, LVRTC Board Member Evijs Taube will also give a presentation to inform international guests about the work carried out within the LATQN project.
