Elektroniskie sakari.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"292\" data-end=\"865\">The seminar brought together industry experts to share information about the project\u2019s implementation progress, objectives and significance. These aspects were presented by K\u0101rlis Kurgs, a representative of LVRTC. In addition, the seminar featured presentations on the results of practical tests conducted within the project and insights from experts at Ltd. Elektroniskie sakari regarding the integration of QKD optical quantum networks into various wireless communication systems, including the impact of different factors on data transmission quality indicators.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"867\" data-end=\"1058\">The project is being implemented in cooperation with partners Ltd. During his talk, he shared performance results of QKD implementation under various conditions and use cases. There we shared LATQN&#8217;s experience of testing quantum-safe technologies in Latvia and discussed the next steps towards a cross-border and Baltic Sea region quantum-safe network.<\/p>\n<p>Together with Nordic and Estonian colleagues, we analysed the possibilities of connecting the countries of the region in a common quantum infrastructure. This is an important platform for international cooperation in promoting cyber security for government and business. The simulated transmission of medical and patient data tested the effectiveness and security of quantum key distribution, or QKD, technology. They are already real working technologies with several implemented projects all over the world, including in Latvia. In this context, it is important to prepare communication systems for the so-called Q-day, or the moment when quantum computers will gain widespread use in everyday life. An important element in this adaptation process is quantum secure transmission. It differs significantly from traditional security methods because it uses the principles of quantum physics.<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<div These countries are currently implementing national projects under the EuroQCI programme and the aim of the event was to strengthen transnational cooperation and establish new contacts.
