[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]On October 19, 2023, a memorandum of understanding titled “the Development of Quantum Technologies in Latvia” was signed by 11 partners.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The objectives of the cooperation outlined in the memorandum are:<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. To enhance Latvia’s international competitiveness in high technology within the field of quantum technologies, including the development of local expertise and innovation.<\/li>\n
  2. To create, develop, and jointly utilize a test environment for technological solutions. To support the creation, adaptation, and development of innovative solutions and coordinated initiatives in quantum technology.<\/li>\n
  3. To promote collaboration between the academic sector, including students and international quantum technology experts, and the industry to facilitate the transfer of knowledge to Latvia’s economy.<\/li>\n
  4. The parties will collaborate by organizing meetings, consultations, and working groups in the field of quantum technologies.<\/li>\n
  5. Joint meetings of the parties will take place at least four times a year to discuss the current situation in quantum technology development, as well as the status of ongoing projects, initiatives, and collaborations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
